The GVS Elipse P3 is a reusable half mask respirator built for people who wear one all day.
At 130g net with filters it is among the lightest P3 respirators available, and its low-profile shell was designed specifically to sit close to the face.
A single large central exhalation valve sits in the middle of the mask rather than off to one side. That does two things: it lowers breathing resistance, so the respirator is less tiring over a full shift, and it clears exhaled moisture quickly, which matters in humid conditions or outdoor work in the wet. The four-point elasticated harness adjusts at head and neck with a soft TPE comfort pad, and holds its setting once you have it right.
Like any tight-fitting respirator, it requires a face fit test for each wearer and a clean-shaven seal area. It filters particulates only — it will not protect against gases, vapours or oxygen-deficient atmospheres.
Applications for this half-face mask include dust, mist, and fumes, and can be used for:
- Welding and Grinding - metal fumes and dust
- Abrasive blasting and surface prep - abrasive media handling and inspection work.
- Construction - silica dust, asbestos, concrete dust, stone dust, aggregate dust, wood dust, cement dust, and mould.
- Manufacturing - glass fibres, composite fibres, and lead fumes.
Two sizes. SPR299 (S/M) and SPR501 (M/L). Supplied ready to use with a pair of HESPA P3 filters fitted.
