This needle pressure gauge accurately measures blast pressure - at the nozzle. The needle is inserted through the blast hose at a 45 degree angle away from the flow of the abrasive. Used correctly, the gauge will verify your nozzle pressure meaning you can measure any pressure drops.
Low pressure can lead to excessive abrasive use, and an incorrect surface profile. Incorrect pressure can also lead to excessive nozzle and hose wear.
